O’s Notes: Brad plays trumpet and Elliot plays trombone. They had strong support from their dad Barry who played both instruments and their mother, singer Christine Vance. Brad made his way from Norwich, England to Berklee in Boston. His brother soon followed him. They evolved as teenagers into fine jazz musicians poised for the New York City jazz scene where you can fine them today. They are bonded genetically and musically, as you will hear on Two Sides One Story. They perform their own repertoire on this debut and it has lots if promise. We enjoyed “The Evil Eye”, “Outside In” and the title track.
