O’s Notes: The liner note say, “Listening to this album is like sitting in a club drinking good bourbon and hearing great music and feeling…” They are spot on. The club is could be placed in New Orleans for it’s spirited ragtime feel or it could be at a resort with some of the bossa nova and Latin (cha-cha) blends. The singers, Patty and Melissa trade leads, scatting, crooning and harmonizing, all the while having fun. There is a wealth of variety and a nice dose of entertainment. The Dysfunctional Family Jazz Band is up to the task turning in a strong performance as well.
