O’s Notes: Angelo plays guitar and leads his quartet through six new compositions. Jack LaTona (keyboards), Kirk Driscoll (d) and Steve Lucas (b) round out the band. The groove ranges from rock to jazzy pop with Angelo dominating the melodies. The title track had a strong rock based guitar lead. However as they rolled into “In His Presence” and the “Trinity Suite”, we began to appreciate Angelo’s versatility and prowess. The six songs are different in character but mostly fusion. We liked “What Eyes Have Not Seen” best.
