O’s Notes: Myriad 3 is pianist Chris Donnelly, bassist Fan Fortin and drummer Ernesto Cervini (also plays clarinet, flute, sax and percussion). Each of the musicians contributes three original tunes to the session along with a vibrant cover of Stravinsky’s “Piano-Rag Music” leading to a wide variety of illustrations.“Vera“is a solid collection of fresh, jazz-fusion tunes exemplified by songs like “Fortress” our favorite of the ten selections.
