O’s Notes: Clover is a collaboration of three friends, musical directors and co-creators of Yolk Records. They are Sebastien Boisseau (b), Jean-Louis Pommier (tb) and Alban Darche (t-sax). Each of the musicians contribute a composition with Darche the writer of 9 of the 11 selections. The music is refined, relaxed and rich with textures. We enjoyed the free-flowing, open sound on “Susi”, Ou Sont Les Oiseaux” and “Alabougie”.
