O’s Notes: Vital Information is Mark Soskin (p), Baron Browne (b), Andy Fusco (sax), Vinny Valentino (g) and Leader Smith on drums. They start by injecting a dose of energy into the classic “Bemsha Swing” and never let up. Steve has sizzle in his sticks and that energy flows through the entire band. Things really pop on “The Blackhawk” and “The Bottom Line” two live bonus tracks that are worthy additions. This is a Viewpoint that we appreciated!
