O’s Notes: John sets the mood of each track on bass. There are a variety of Viewpoints, mainly neo-bop with a few doses of fusion like“Brazilian Hat Trick”. There are sweet mellow songs like “Sleepy Boys” and newly arranged classics like “I Love Paris” featuring nice work on trumpet by John Marshall. Our favorite is “Bohemia After Dark” with lots of solid work from Goldsby.
