O’s Notes: The formidable George Benson takes the stage at Ronny Scott’s for a Weekend In London. He’s singing and playing guitar on fourteen tunes including some of his classic hits notably “Give Me The Night”, “The Ghetto”, “Affirmation”, “Love X Love” and “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You”. While he’s aging, his tone and groove are still impeccable, supported by a talented band and background singers. There are lots of great memories here.
