O’s Notes: The Mole is pianist Mark Aanderud, guitarist David Gilmore, bassist Jorge “Luri” Molina and Herman Hecht on drums. They play rock-based fusion with Aanderud and Gilmore picking up the lead lines separately and in unison. Things come together well on “Flour Tortilla Variation” and continue flowing into the title track and “Greenland”. We also like “Grubenid”, the funky finale.
