O’s Notes: The band is Dave Holland (b) Chris Potter (sax), John Taylor (p) and leader Kenny Wheeler (t). These are a very talented set of musicians who combine to perform eight Wheeler compositions. The harmony between them is great and thus spills over into the music which has a neobop /fusion feel. Listen to “March Mist”, our favorite, to get a gist of where they are coming from.
