O’s Notes: Doo-Wop is fun music and it dominated the airwaves in the 1950-60s. Jackie T and The Rhythm Jesters bring back the fun, the harmonies and associated cool. The songs are new but the style is doo-wop. While it is definitely retro, you can’t help patting your feet to songs like “That Girl”, “Ooh Sha La”, “Shooby Love” and “Make Believe”. The songs are short by today’s standards, 3 and a half minutes maximum to fit on a 45-rpm vinyl record side!
