O’s Notes: Karrin takes the blue side of ballads for this release singing covers of popular songs like “Wild For You Baby” and “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight”. While that is the dominant theme, her arrangements of tunes like “Wild World”, “Feel Like Makin’ Love” and “It’ Too Late” are very jazzy. In either case her voice is velvety smooth. Allyson is reflecting on lyrics from her past that have meaning to her. We could fell her emotions in the expression.
