O’s Notes: Aimee Allen is a poised vocalist and composer who sings with a great deal of confidence on“Wings Uncared,“her latest release. Franois Moutin provides excellent work on bass as an anchor and soloist throughout the set notably on “Skylark” and “Save Your Love For Me”. Pianist Billy Test and drummer Kush Abadey round out the supporting trio. Allen’s lyrics flow effortlessly whether in English, French or Brazilian Portuguese on “Fotografia”; we were drawn into her performance.
