O’s Notes: Sheila is a proud jazz veteran and at 80 years old, she is still quite the entertainer. This is a live set in Montreal recorded February 2008. A polished team backs her with Steve Amirault (p), Kieran Overs (b) and André White (d). Jordan sings a dozen standards and engages the audience along the way. We really enjoyed her versions of “Dat Dere”, “Lady Be Good” and each if the three medleys. Winter Sunshine is a snapshot of one of the best in the business!
