O’s Notes: There is a wide variety of classic jazz on this offering, from ballads like their cover of the classic “Never Let Me Go”, to bouncy bebop to swing. The work by pianist Jeremy Manasia is strong notably on “That’s It”. Drummer Charles Goold opens “The Game” with sizzle, and that pace continues with bassist David Williams leading “On The Move” including Greg Grassman on trumpet. With Peter Bradley is inspired by the famous painter’s friendship and dedication to his craft.
