O’s Notes: Pianist, Rosnes is joined by the powerful and talented Danish Radio Big Band. They play eight well-developed compositions that have a large sound stage. We liked the layering on the opener “Ancestors” which continued throughout the set. We also the tranquility of “In This Moment” and the syncopated beats of “Black Holes”. Renee’s piano complemented the large ensemble resulting in a rich performance.
