O’s Notes: Seasoned guitarist, composer Dan Carillo makes a trio with drummer Aaron Walker and producer, bassist Andrew Bergmann. They are Common Good and Witness is their debut recording. There are eight original compositions with interesting titles like “Good Grief”, “May Day” and “The Unmasking”. The liner notes connect the titles to sociological, economic and political issues but without them we couldn’t feel the connection in the music.
