O’s Notes: Womex is an international gathering of world music. 19 years running, the global fair includes musicians espousing folk, Latin, roots, ethnic and traditional themes. This collection includes bands from Mali, Cuba, Canada, the UK, Africa, USA, India, South America, France and New Zealand. The resulting collage is as diverse as the musicians but inoffensive and with something sure to resonate with all listeners. It serves as a fine introduction to different vibes.
