O’s Notes: John assembled his dream band for this recording: Kenny Garrett (s), Brad Mehldau (p), Christian McBride (b) and Billy Higgins (d). The chemistry is remarkable! There was only positive interference on shared melodies between the instruments. Highlights are: “Do I Crazy”, “Love You Long Time” and our favorite, “I’ll Catch You”.
