O’s Notes: Jane is singing popular blue ballads and adding guitar on half of the tunes as well. Her voice is smoky and cool on the bossa nova beats of “On Green Dolphin Street” where she is joined by Martin Land’s flute solo. She gets seductive on “Black Coffee” and somewhat funky on the honky-tonk blues of “Gonna Cause Trouble”. This is good stuff that sounds better with each listen!
