O’s Notes: When two popular smooth jazz veterans join forces to make an album, it is tough to go wrong. Such is the case on 24/7 when Norman Brown pairs his buttery smooth guitar with Gerald Albright’s passionate sax for their debut recording together. They trade off on the melodies and sync up for a few as well. We really dug the calypso groove of “Buenos Amigos”, the cover of “Tomorrow” and the mid-tempo funk of “Yes I Can”. This one is poised for the summer heat and won’t disappoint you!
