O’s Notes: Swedish singer, songwriter Jesper Lindell leads his band, The Brunnsvik Sounds to Memphis hoping to capture some of the local, legendary sound on Royal. They are indeed successful refreshing many classics, and some lesser known soulful, blues tunes. “When Something Is Wrong with My Baby”, “Tryin’ To Live My Life Without You” featuring vocalist Frazey Ford, “Sweeter Tomorrow”, and “I Can’t Stand the Rain” are among the best of nine selections.
