O’s Notes: Peter Eldridge is a singer and pianist that brings us a refreshing taste of contemporary jazz reminiscent of Steely Dan, Sergio Mendez and Michael Franks. Peter wrote most of the tunes giving the session a fresh feeling. He mixes smooth jazz rhythms with rich vocal harmonies and an occasional taste of Latin that makes this a warm album that is easy to engage in. The title track is an excellent example and a solid tune. We also enjoyed “Betty’s Bossa”, “Buffet Philosophy” and “I Forgot To Laugh”.
