O’s Notes: Tenor saxophonist Ian Christensen has energetic exchanges with Noah Bernstein (alto sax) and Andrew Jones (b) on four hard bop selections. The remaining four selections are more relaxed songs with guitarist Ryan Meagher. Jonas Oglesbee plays drums on all songs. While the styles were very different, we enjoyed both approaches.
