O’s Notes: Sam Broverman highlights the fact that Jewish songwriters composed many of the most popular Christmas songs. He expanded on that theme with a Holiday cabaret show titled“A Jewish Boys Christmas. This album with the same title is full of comedic parodies that view the season from a different angle. “Christmas Card From A Hooker In Minneapolis” and “What’s A Jew To Do On Christmas” are indicative of the content. Whitney Ross-Barris joins Sam with vocals in from of a solid quintet.
