O’s Notes: TC3 is pianist Todd Cochran’s trio featuring bassist Jeff Leftwich and Michael Carvin on drums. Leftwich is featured on “Heretofore” with a deliberate, introspective solo. We also enjoyed “April In Paris” and “Bemsha Swing”. The trio has a cool vibe that is present regardless of the tempo. Todd selected standards that mean something to him. He puts his personal stamp on each of the arrangements and also included a couple of originals notably “Then And Again, Here And Now”.
