O’s Notes: Hugh is the self-titled debut for multi-instrumentalist and producer, Hugh Manwell. He blends jazz, funk, urban, and club beats over four contemporary tracks. We liked the cool, funky beat on “House of Glass” best in this set that approaches 12 minutes. We look for more extensive work from Manwell in the future.
