O’s Notes: The pandemic led Special EFX guitarist Chieli Minucci to create his first acoustic-guitar-based album, Someone’s Singing. This is a peaceful, calming set featuring Minucci playing a wide variety of guitars from his collection along with percussion. This limited release is mostly original music with a few takes on Holiday classics. It is more tilted towards classical music than jazz and serves as a background for peaceful relaxation, depicting Chieli in another dimension. “Bright Sky” and “Liminality” are standouts.
