O’s Notes: Guitarist Margaret Slovak joins forces with bassist Chris Maresh to record a warm set of Holiday music. Both musicians are Texans with immigrant Czech fathers who were musicians! A Star’s Light Does Fall is a peaceful collection of inspiring, instrumental Holiday songs. The music is a perfect backdrop for gazing into the embers with a glass of eggnog to reflect on good times! Our favorites are “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” and “Christmas Time Is Here” among many lesser-known Holiday tunes.
