O’s Notes: Producer/writer J-P Maunick of Incognito fame, sprinkles some of his hit-formula magic onto Citrus Sun, a new band (to US audiences) with the London groove. Guitarist Jim Mullen, Ed Jones (sax) and Dominic Glover (t) carry most of the melodies over jazzy, funky R&B rhythms. It’s solid, fresh and a step above the overly smooth elevator music.
