O’s Notes: Contemporary saxophonist Don Diego leads his band through a balanced collection of ballads, blues and club beat ready songs. Lucky Peterson plays guitar, sings and plays the organ on “Rib Sandwich”, one of our favorites along with “Movin'” and “She’s My Girl”. These are all originals, a combination of cool R&B beats, vocals and Don’s smooth sax that hit the sweet spot for contemporary jazz fans.
