O’s Notes: Ramona (p, vocals) leads a mellow quintet through eleven originals including two with help from guitarist Noel Borthwick. She does a good job scatting on “Latin Quarter”. There are a lot of sweet melodies from Phil Grenadier on trumpet. We also noted the voice of Esperanza Spaulding on “Garbarero” and “Lotus Lake”. It is a mellow set.
