O’s Notes: Shirley sings a dozen Holiday classics in a way that is fully in line with tradition. Her soprano is well suited for the task and the large ensemble behind her and background vocalists enhance the experience. Jana Evans does a fine job on the arrangements. Among the best are “White Christmas” “Silver Bells” and “Baby It’s Cold Outside”, a duet with Tony Orlando.
