O’s Notes: Veteran drummer, producer John Clay leads a fine band that includes Enrique Haneine (p), Sean Conly (b), Shunzo Ohno (t, flügelhorn) and Matt Garrison (sax. Vocalist Ruby Pucillo adds variety to the set on” Alice in Wonderland” and “Highway 14”. We also liked “Dubai”, a fresh arrangement of “Stella By Starlight”, and “My New Friend Old Friend”.
