O’s Notes: Indian guitarist and composer, Todd Mosby play electric and acoustic guitars including the Imrat guitar, a hybrid sitar-guitar bridge instrument. He is highly regarded in New Age Jazz circles and in India where he is the only guitarist to become a member of the famed Imdhad Khani Gharana of musicians featuring sitarists. His contemporary style is unique and appealing to a wide base. The band includes Charlie Bisharat (violin), Michael Manring (b) and Lola Kristine (vocals, p). Mosby’s music tries to engage all senses and Ariel Views places listeners just below the clouds marveling at the breathtaking sights below. Highlights are “Gliding”, “Sailing Sylphs” and “Blue Horizons”.
