O’s Notes: Pianist Jason Yeager teams up with saxophonist Randal Despommier for All At Onceness. They play as a duo on five selections then form a trio with vocalist Aubrey Johnson for two songs. They perform as a quartet with bassist Danny Weller and Jay Sawyer on drums on the swinging “Rite of Cherokee”. All five misicians come together on “Telekinesis” and “Bagatelle”. We enjoyed the gentle sway of “The First Flower” and peaceful mood of “Sarabande” that defined the majority of the set.
