O’s Notes: Keyboardist Bill Ward has a fat, throwback, contemporary jazz sound with an abundance of electronics, keyboard synthesizes in a blend of R&B and jazz on All In One. We picked it up recently at a local concert, but the album was released in 2004. It’s still cool and refreshing for folks who were grooving during that time. Ward’s current song list is a bit more on the traditional side and he’s worth checking out if you’re in the Charlotte area.
