O’s Notes: Benjie Porecki is an established keyboardist who was inspired by Herbie Hancock and Ray Charles. He plays a genre busting contemporary jazz that is palatable to a wide audience on All That Matters, a warm set of contemporary jazz tunes centered around the piano. Mark Prince plays drums, and Michael Bowle plays bass to round out the Trio. We liked “Intermezzo” with Benji playing the B3 and piano, “She’s Gone”, and “Home At Last”. We also liked the ballads like “Bring It On Home” and the title track.
