O’s Notes: Tom is a very talented multi instrumentalist, composer and explorer. All The World’s Stage is an accurate descriptor of this performance with exotic elements of Africa, the Mid-East and India all coming together as fresh contemporary jazz. Teasley shines on percussive instruments and his collection spans the globe. He manages to use them appropriately along with some vocalese for this rich vibrant journey. Our favorites were “Fuska and Varuna”, “The Apple Song” and “Nights Over Bagdad”.
