O’s Notes: Sarah plays trombone and leads a swinging cool band that includes the warm sound of the Hammond B3 manned by Rhonda Scott. They play Dixie, boogie-woogie, ballads and strike a cool groove on “Work Song”. Morrow blends her trombone with the sax of Hal Singer for blue harmonies on “Love For Sale”, a good representation of the depth on this session.
