O’s Notes: Emmy winning composer Joel Goodman (keyboards, b) invites stellar artists John Patitucci (b), Randy Brecker (t), Brandee Younger (harp), Lisa Fischer (vocals), and Philippe Saisse (p, vibes), to join a core band consisting of Danny McCaslin (sax), Eric Harland (d), Adam Rogers (g), Mino Cinelu (perc), and Scott Cooley (b). We enjoyed the exotic feel on “What Dreamers Dream”, the funky “A Change Of Heart”, and the cool “Astral Projection”. The mood is adventurous, exotic, and engaging.
