O’s Notes: Pianist Terry Marshall assembles various configurations of musicians for this set of contemporary jazz. The program includes covers of jazz and popular tunes. Iva Ambush sings two selections notably “Being Cool”. Kendra Johnson sings “Bitter Earth” and joins DeCastro Brown on “Moody’s Mood”. The vocals are sandwiched by seven instrumentals. We preferred the latter.
