O’s Notes: Kaze is a free jazz quartet featuring the famous Japanese husband and wife team Satoko Fujii (p) and Natsuki Tamura (t) with Westerners Christian Pruvost (t) and drummer Peter Orins. They play a creative set with lots of space between the musicians. There is a lot of free improvisation that extends the way the musicians play their instruments. This is typical for Fujii and her compatriots who made their careers on such engagements.“Atodgy Man“is approachable but has a limited audience.
