O’s Notes: Bradley grew up in the 1970s when R&B sounds crossed over into the Billboard Pop charts. He liked the contemporary jazz scene then as he does now integrating some of that good old feeling with today’s groove as on “Midnight Affairs”. They vary the pace with mostly new tunes written by Bradley and producer keyboardist Allan Phillips. Leighton plays flute and injects enough rhythm and spontaneity to keep it a step above elevator music.
