O’s Notes: This is a good mix of pop ballads and jazzy instrumentals. Steve plays vibes and marimba and Pat plays guitar and harmonica. The rest of the band includes bassist Marc Johnson and Will Barrow (accordion). Annie Sellick adds vocals and does a fine job on “Early” and “Life Could Be Wonderful” where Scott Kreitzer shadows her on sax. They put an exotic Latin spin on “My Heart Belongs To Daddy”. Among the best of the instrumentals is the cooking “I’ll Take The Soup”. The program spans the Jazz Rulerª with something for everyone.
