O’s Notes: Peter Liu is a tenor balladeer with a laid back style. Peter Hum plays piano with Tim Shia on drums and clarinetist Scott Poll. Bass duties are split between Normand Glaude and Mark Fraser. The band and Liu grew together rapidly and they are strong and flexible. These are all characteristics of Bamboo Groove. It is a decent outing.
