O’s Notes: Bandzilla is large ensemble that was created by guitarist, composer and producer Richard Niles back in 1986! They’ve performed with many notable R&B, pop and contemporary jazz acts and were resurrected to release their second studio album,“Bandzilla Rises!“It is a collection of original R&B-laced, mixed vocals and instrumentals that are upbeat and infused with punctuated brass accents. Among the many stellar artists are Randy Brecker (t, vocals), Kim Chandler (vocals) and of course Niles (g). This is music that will resonate with baby boomers and young audiences that appreciate that old school groove.
