O’s Notes: Jeff was a blind guitarist who played rock blues. He also played trumpet and sang! And on this evening, April 4, 2006 in Toronto, Jeff explores his passion swinging with New Orleans style classic jazz. The venue is the Berkeley Church with excellent acoustics and ambience. The music is interlaced with interviews of Jeff describing his love of music from the 1920s an 1930s. Healey performs wonderfully and the action is all captured. There are guest vocalists and musicians playing with him in a well-recorded session. It is as if you were there. If you like this style of jazz, you will really enjoy this set.
