O’s Notes: This band is all about guitars centered around Aaron Germain’s compositions written from 2015 to 2020. He plays several different guitars, basses, and guiro. Accompaniment come from many musicians notably Paul McCandless (s-sax, oboe), Chloë Scott Jones (fl), Mary Fertig (fl) and Michael Spiro (cajon, guiro). There’s a spirited vibe in the core of the 17-song session notably “Dover Preach” and “Galope” and we especially enjoyed “Pin Untended”.
