O’s Notes: This collaboration includes thirteen of the best songs recorded by Dark Chocolate, a contemporary jazz band under the direction of percussionist Clay Henry. The program includes selections from Island Gypsy (’08), Unwrapped (’09) and Caper (’11). Among the best tracks are “Moonrise”, “Cafe Society” and “One The Train”. Their music is as good as yes, Dark Chocolate and this is a very good sampling.
